I am moving to the area out on Indian Hot Springs Rd. I am going to build a home there. Can you tell me how I can get water delivery there? I do not drive... I would like to fill a 1,000 tank each month.

Hi Mike,
Sorry but I don't have too much information. I'm looking for some people who invested in buying land in Sierra Blanca. Maybe we can help each other in this research.
Thanks for contacting me.

Hi Slav, I found your site a few months back and am just finding time to post a quick note. Me and my wife bought 870 acres about a year and a half ago and will be making it our retirement ranch. Our land is located in the Blue Qual Phase III plot. Our plan is to be completely off the grid using wind as the primary electrical source and solar as a backup. Our water usage will have a grey tank which will be filtered for landscape use and ground tanks for live stock. We are currently looking into drilling of wells and will post any info we finfd on it. I did talk to a few folks in Sierra Blanca and was told water can be hit at 500 ft. but it is not always potable at that depth. I was told that I may need to go deeper for good potable water. I will post up again as I get info to share.

Hi, Folks, I just purchased 20 acres from Sunset, in Blue Quail III.
I would like to communicate with any other land owners there. Especially about the water situation. I need to buy tanks, and arrange delivery, etc. I am doing the building myself. I am in Thailand now, but will be arriving in Jan of 2014. I was in Sierra Blanca in 2011, so know the place somewhat. mccarthydennis89@yahoo.com

Hi Guys,
Seems to me that water is going to be a problem. Are any of you interested in drilling a deep community bore well, to solve the problem?
I am. I did it in India, very successfully. Water is the key to any of this land here in Sierra Blanca. I will be relying completely on Solar Power also.

Hello Everyone,
Just upped my purchase to 46 Acres in Blue Quail III on Buckhorn Road. I want to start looking into drilling for water, as that is my first concern. I am in Thailand now, but want to start things moving in January of February. Need the name of the Best waterdrilling Co. to talk to. I am at mccarthydennis89@yahoo.com if anyone wants to talk to me. I want to find out as much as I can about the area, and be part of the overall development. I also want to live off the radar, with Solar power and Wind power, with only generator back-up.

Dear Norm,
Hi, I have 46 acres in phase 3 also, and I am really looking for info about the water situation. I would like to drill my own well, and need information about that, and also about water delivery. Like you, I want to be completely off the grid with solar power also. I would also like to get to know you, as a neighbor in a general way, also. I am living in Thailand now, but will be coming over in 2014.
Why not get in touch, and lets communicate.
Dennis

Dear Norm,
I would really like to get to know you. What plots do you have in Blue Quail lll? I have 21 and 22 and can send you a map (46.6 Acres). My holding is very small compared to yours. Would like to know about Water, and drilling. I am told it is about 500ft to good water. I also want to know who I can contact for water hauling for my tanks when I put them in. I will be coming in Jan or Feb of 2014. I am in Thailand now, teaching. I am at mccarthydennis89@yahoo.com if you want to contact me direct.
Thanks,
Dennis McCarthy

Hello everyone,
I am trying to locate neighbors in Blue Quail III who might be interested in talking about drilling a borewell as a community effort.
I am told it might have to be from 500 to 700 ft. I would be willing to go in for it, if I can find others to share the expense. Water is the key.

Hello all, I have recently found out some information regarding water. I visited the water company and asked about the water purchase. The water company told me that you sign a contract with them for water. You get an account and this is how they monitor how much water you take when you fill your portable tank. The cost is $25 per month for 2000 gallons. The catch ; you pay $25 a month whether you get your allotment or not. If you go over the $25 per month, you will be charged extra. I also heard there is an old timer in town that will drill a well for $7500 and guarantee water. I still need to get more info about the well driller.

Dear James (And anyone else that is interested)
I would like to communicate with anyone in the Sierra Blanca-Conrnudas area, about any issue, including water. I am somewhat familiar with some of the issues. I have 20 acres, and am planning to build a small house, and live off the grid, as they say. Water seems to be the main issue on everyone's mind and maybe we could work together on that for some realistic solutions (like a community bore-well, etc.)

Hello, just notice your post. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is in need of water. 3 month ago started buying land in Sierra Blanca as well. I have 100 acres and have build more than one home here for the family. Was going to buy a 65,000 tank, but need water delivery. Have found any answers yet. Doing solar panels and I hope to get a fuel tank installed. Still researching that part. If you hear any can you please notify me please. Would be a blessing. Thank you in advance.
