Re: Pictures

Carlin Comm
Hi, let me first say Thank you for posting this website and forum, we've gotten a lot of use from it so far, lots of information shared!

I posted a few pictures of my property on my website here:
http://carlincomm.com/silver_spur/
I'm south of Sierra Blanca, off of road 1111.

Currently living in Austin, trying to get work to transfer me over to El Paso, then I'll move out there as soon as possible.

Best wishes to all my future neighbors!

Thanks so much for the pictures! We are also at Silver Spur, unit 12 tracts 11-16. I can't wait until we move out there! I know it's going to be tough, but nothing good ever comes easy.
Blessings of Love & Light,
Kelley

Joe, how many watts are you running on you panels and size/voltage of your battery bank? Have you have issues with weather (hail) damaging your array?

Re: Pictures

The array pictured above was 3050 watts. I have a 1400ah 24v battery bank with a midnite classic 200 charge controller and an Ames 24v 5000w inverter. I said "was" above because a micro burst of wind threw it about 15 ft and destroyed half the array. The new array is 2100w and secured. 2100w produces around 11kw per day this time of year so still ample power for our needs

Does anyone know what this is? I believe it is a relay of some kind but I don't know. It is located near the intersection of Mcadoo rd. and Garret rd.
